Tucked away on the south coast, this wonderfully sited little houses sit virtually on the sea’s edge, with their own small private beach, in a quiet spot about 4 km from the quaint little mountain village of Kerames, some 45 km south of Rethymnon. The villa, about 60sqm in size, is suitable for 4 people,having two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. There is an open plan living/dining room with a fireplace, and a modern kitchenette with fridge and bath/WC. At the front of the villa, 3 steps lead up to a raised veranda with a wooden tiled roof offering welcome shade. There are pretty potted plants and patio furniture making the veranda the perfect and romantic spot to dine alfresco or to gaze over the sea and take in the unforgettable sunsets. The villa is simply furnished in Cretan style and is surrounded by small gardens with shrubs and small trees. From the grounds there are absolutely beautiful views of the blue Libyan Sea and the glorious mountain backdrop. Situated to the rear of the villa, yet quiet privately positioned and looking diagonally out across the bay, there is a separate smaller house, 25sqm in size, containing a well equipped studio suitable for 2 people. There is a bed/living room with twin beds, a kitchenette, shower/WC, as well as a pleasant roofed veranda with patio furniture.
Tavernas can be found in the village of Kerames. Shops and other amenities can be found in the village of Spili, 20 km away. A car is essential.
