Beautifully positioned, this rustic and homely family house is tucked into a hillside outside the hamlet of Giannoudi, and is approx. 4 km from the town of Rethymnon. The setting within a delightful terraced garden, offers wonderful far reaching views across the verdant sweep of valley beneath and beyond this to the sea. A big stone flagged patio with garden furniture, BBQ, sink and traditional stone oven is a perfect spot for farmhouse style outdoor dining, and below to the house, in the terraced gardens, there is a swimming pool of approx. 36sqm. With three bedrooms, Villa Christos is suitable for 6-7 people. Entering the house from the sun terrace, there is a comfortable living/dining room with three sofas (one is a sofa bed), large Satellite TV, CD/radio player, telephone for incoming calls, dining table and chairs. Beyond this, divided by a breakfast bar, is a small open plan kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, and dishwasher. Also on this floor there is a small shower/WC, with a washing machine. Upstairs, the first floor has cottage style lower ceilings and wooden floors, and a lobby area. There is another shower/WC and three bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with twin beds. Each bedroom has TV, and air conditioning (inclusive). In addition there is central heating available for cooler spells (at an extra charge).
The nearest taverna is about 250 metres away, and a footpath leads all the way down to the beach, approx. 3 km away. For shopping and a further choice of tavernas, a car is however almost essential.
