This newly built 2-storey villa, is a modern family house, quietly positioned within large gardens of 4000sqm with fruit trees, olive trees, and colourful flowers, 1 km away from the village of Asteri, 14 km east of Rethymnon and 2,5 km from the nearest sandy beach. Facilities are a 70sqm private swimming pool, and a basketball area. Country House Anna is 290sqm in size, has four bedrooms, and is suitable for up to 8 people. On the ground floor there is one bedroom with twin beds, shower/WC, and a storage room with a washing machine. The main living/dining area is split-level and has an open fireplace, TV, stereo, a well-equipped and built in kitchen with dishwasher, and two terraces with wonderful views of the surroundings. An inner staircase leads to the upper floor of the villa with three bedrooms, one with twin beds and two with a double bed, sharing one spacious bathroom with corner (Jacuzzi) bath/WC. Delightful views over the sea and the landscape can be enjoyed from the verandas, leading off from each bedroom. There is also central heating for cooler periods of the year (at an extra charge). On the ground floor is also an apartment (40sqm) suitable for 4 people with 2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds, a shower/WC and a kitchen with a sitting corner. This apartment can not be booked alone, only with the villa. The sandy beach of Stavromenos is 2,5 km away. Tavernas, a mini-market and other shops can be reached after 2 km and the well-known monastery of Arkadi is situated at a distance of 8 km. For those who enjoy peaceful holidays in natural settings, Country House Anna is sure to delight and charm. We consider a car to be essential.
