Villa Anda is a beautiful traditional small villa situated in the village of Asteri. It is a 400 year old Venetian building which has been renovated using local stone. The village of Asteri is surrounded by the Cretan nature and the building blends harmonically with the whole landscape. The interior of the villa is stylish and tasteful, yet retains a traditional field to it, which is reflected in the property’s furnishings. The villa is suitable for 4-6 people and has 2 bedrooms. Although all one floor, each area of the villa is on a different level, separated by a few steps. The modern and well equipped kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, washing machine and lounge area are open plan. Both bedrooms, one with a double and one with two single beds, enjoy beamed ceilings, stone walls and air conditioning. The villa has also a satellite TV and a CD player. The bed in the double bedroom has steps leading up to it, making it raised. The bathroom has the unusual feature of a bath on legs! Outside the swimming pool (10.5m x 3.85m) is surrounded by a terrace with furniture with a barbeque area. The nearest beach, shops and tavernas can be found after 2km in Stavromenos.
The town of Rethymnon is 14km away. A car is considered to be essential for exploring the area and the whole island.
