Phaestias Villas is a group of five independent villas, each with its own private pool, nestling on the slopes of a hillside, 1 km from the village of Kamilari and 1,5 km from the village of Kalamaki with its large sandy beach. The villas have amazing views over the surrounding mountains and out over the sea. They offer an ideal base for visiting the nearby archaelogical sites at Phaestos and Gortys and many other places of interest. The villas are built and furnished to a high standard in a traditional style, offering a comfortable setting for visitors. Each villa (80sqm) is ideal for 4-6 people and arranged on two floors. The main entrance leads to a large, spacious living room with a stone built fireplace and two built in corner sofa beds. A stone built archway then leads to a tastefully furnished dining area, a fully equipped kitchenette and a small shower/WC. The two bedrooms are situated downstairs, one having a double bed and one with twin beds. They share a large bathroom equipped with hydro massage and “Hammam”. The villas are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, DVD, hi-fi system, washing machine, microwave, electric iron, hairdryer, safety deposit box, and BBQ. Each villa is surrounded by gardens of 800sqm, and each has it own private swimming pool (32sqm) with hydro jets, children’s pool, play area and private parking.
The nearest shops, tavernas and other amenties can be found in Kamilari and the nearest beach is in Kalamaki. Phaestias Villas offer a peaceful setting in comfortable surroundings, in the heart of unspoiled Cretan countryside. Car hire is recommended.
