This recently built, single storey, detached villa is situated close to the sea, at the end of the Akrotiri Peninsula in Western Crete, on the outskirts of the beachside village of Stavros. Apart from one neighbour, the villa sits alone, surrounded by gardens and within large grounds of 2000sqm. Villa Kristi has a private swimming pool of 40sqm.
The villa is airy and spacious (approx. 170sqm) and designed in a modern style, with beautiful views of the mountain slopes, where many scenes from the famous film “Zorba the Greek” were taken.
The villa is suitable for 8-10 people with four bedrooms, all of which are air-conditioned at extra local charge. One bedroom has a double bed (with en-suite shower/WC), three bedrooms have twin beds, and there are two camp beds available. Further there is one bathroom with bath/shower/WC, plus a washing machine, and another bathroom with shower/WC. There is a large open plan living/dining room with comfortable seating, and a dining table and chairs. The kitchenette is well equipped with full size cooker and fridge/freezer. Leading off the living area, through French doors, equipped with mosquito nets, there is a large covered veranda with comfortable patio furniture.
The nearest mini-markets and tavernas, which are in the area of Stavros are about 800 metres away, and the lovely sandy beach of Stavros about 1,5 km. To the rear of the villa there is ample room for car parking. Car hire is recommended, as this does allow for a more varied choice of tavernas and shops.
